*UPDATE*
While it had previously not been our plan to sell this seasonally, we identified that Block 127 offered the nearest alternative seating section with a comparable view of the pitch. We therefore sought to release it to give you the best possible alternative and we are confident that the new location will not in any way diminish your experience at London Stadium.
We fully understand that many of our supporters took time to identify and select their preferred seating area within the stadium. However, the safety of our supporters is of paramount importance and must always come first.
The Club would also like to make clear that, in line with our policy of constantly reviewing every aspect of the matchday experience for our supporters, we will be reassessing the situation regularly throughout the season with the intention of moving you back to Block 114.
Of course, our offer of a pro-rata refund for your Season Ticket for the remaining games this season still remains. Should you wish, we will facilitate this without question but we hope that you continue to attend matches at London Stadium and that, working together, we can find a suitable solution.
As a gesture of goodwill, the Club would like to invite you and every other Block 114 Season Ticket Holder to an exclusive event at our Rush Green Training Ground, to watch the first-team squad in training on Tuesday 20 December from 1.30pm. To confirm your attendance at this event please RSVP to supporterservices@westhamunited.co.uk.

Leveller, I spoke to TO to say I was very unhappy with 127 and what options there were to move elsewhere and I was told that it was temporary and that they were working out where everyone would go and they would be contacting us all individually when they had decided. You can guess if that means we are moving back or we are all being split up :thup:

If someone is on Twitter it's worth pointing out that it was the green caps that the complaints are about. The club are trying to confuse the issue by probably correctly stating that the two big guys in suits are off duty stadium store security watching the game. These guys had nothing to do with the problems as it was the green caps acting like clowns and refusing to identify themselves.

But standing is not against the law, so the police don't get involved in that. It is only against the Premier League rules - you can stand for rugby or athletics so it is not the Stadium's concern. This is instructions from the Club to get rid of those standing.
It is also a Premier League rule that each club must provide a dedicated Family Area - and it is a West Ham condition for season ticket holders that any adult in a family area without an accompanied junior can be ejected or even banned from the ground. As Brady has said that the whole stadium is a family area, I expect to see anyone without a kid getting thrown out of the ground as well.

As it was 5th November, I watched V For Vendetta last night with the kids. That film is packed full of sentiment on how the masses have the power, if only they realised it, but are mostly so apathetic and scared they do nothing.

All of this aside the over riding problem for me is the lack of investment in the squad. We were told that we were leaving home to enable us to put together a squad capable of challenging for the top 4. The fans fulfilled our end of the bargain and bought 50,000 season tickets whilst the owners failed to improve the first eleven concentrating on freebies and loans.
Sack the board.

I was listening to a few of the conversations some lads were having with the police in 127 and they were saying " look you are going to get your club thrown out of this stadium by standing."
I imagine behind the scenes huge pressure is being put on the club and they are probably under serious threat of games being played behind closed doors and worse. The media have the bit between their teeth for us and I imagine weak willed government officials will seriously panick over the bad press.
All of that said the way they are targeting small groups with very heavy handed stewards is just making the situation worse. Block 127 was very quiet yesterday before the snatch teams strutted down. The club must have been aware that there were some seriously pissed off people in that block. Yet instead of doing the intelligent thing and leave us alone for a few games letting the bad feeling cool a bit they decided to essentially poke the wasps nest.
I hadn't bought into the social cleaning or Arsenalisation of our fans until yesterday but those snatch teams can only have been designed to force reactions that lead to banning orders.

Ive seen a lot over the years but i dont think ive ever seen the club actively turn on its own fans. Even during the dark days of the bond scheme the fans were allowed to protest. What i saw yesterday was an absolute disgrace, how the club sent in bully boys to quell innocent fans just having a sing and a shout. For me that was the darkest day in our history, worse than anything inflicted on the field.
